Head Crash

So the laptop is sitting over on the desk, and I'm not even touching it... and suddenly a tacka-tacka-tacka-tacka noise (loud enough to be heard from the next cube) starts coming from it... for a bit... then stops. I move the mouse, and BSOD. Oops. I reboot. BIOS... tacka-tacka-tacka noise... GRUB can't find boot sector. OOPS

ARGH

Recreating...

I had something over 60 comics that I read regularly on my hotlist... on the hard drive that crashed. Argh.

Hm... that's about 57 of them. Not quite all, dunno what I'm missing. *sigh*

Actually it's +/- 4. I think there's 4 links in the list not in my original list, but 4 links in the original list that weren't updating, but are related to the comics I have in my list (2 S*P, 2 Troutman of Andiewear), so they cancel out.

Gaming! Sunday, October 30th

Yup, it's board-gaming time at my place again. It's been a while, in fact it's been too long...but I was trying to figure out when I could do this, and there doesn't look like anything sooner than that. Well, unless I do a week-day evening, I guess. But, I don't even see a really convenient one of those. So, October 30th it is.

Gaming, Sunday October 30th, my place. Since I'll be heading out for dinner around 6:30pm (yeah, you're invited...not sure where we're going, it's still under discussion, though African has been getting positive noises, it is the bi-poly dinner... not potluck, this is a restaurant month), I'm going to go with a 1pm start, to give reasonable gaming time.

And, if you just want to hang around and be social, that's quite welcome, too.
