Yup, still living it.

Spent most of this week at work in training -- not presenting, but receiving. Feel like I got about one days useful knowledge out of the 4 days of training, for a number of reasons.

Wednesday evening had another dance lesson. Then Thursday, we were planning to go to a group lesson at 8pm, then a dance "party" from 9-11, but got to Bank & Second around 7:50 and couldn't find anywhere to park -- I think there was a game or something happening at Lansdowne. So, drove home again, changed & packed dancing clothes and walked back to dancing for the party, danced for two hours, then walked home again. I guess I got some good exercise on Thursday. :) I've also cleared out my living room so that [livejournal.com profile] leolac and I have room to practice at home, and we've been doing that occasionally, too.

Currently I feel pretty comfortable with Swing and Rumba, moderate with Foxtrot, and Cha-cha, a bit less than moderate with Waltz, and still rough with Salsa and Tango. And, for some reason, I feel like I'm missing one.

In fact, living with [livejournal.com profile] leolac has been going pretty well. I think we're finding a balance in living together & dating, and not letting one overwhelm the other.

Gaming and poly potluck are happening at my place on Sunday -- it looks like I should have between 4 and 6 gamers for gaming. Potluck looks to be a smaller group (based on smallish set of RSVPs), but that isn't entirely surprising. In the past, summer has seemed to result in smaller get-togethers for the bi-poly dinners/potlucks/discussions than the rest of the year.

And, Monday evening, after a dance lesson, [livejournal.com profile] leolac and myself will be headed to my parents cottage for a couple days. Should be a nice time, and I'll get a chance to see the changes, and how much work needs to be done. I expect to spend a fair bit of time splitting wood, but should also get some good relaxation time, too.
