almost done...
May. 6th, 2004 10:15 pmWell, I'm onto the home stretch of my week of teaching here in Warren, MI. Looking forward to heading home, by way of Waterloo (dancing with
corbet,
horsetraveller, and possibly others).
The GM campus here is pretty big and mazelike. To get to the building where I'm teaching, from a fairly close entrance, I turn left into the entrance, turn right when this comes to a T, turn left at the stop lights, pass the security guard hut, follow the road as it curves to the left, then right, then turn right at the 3-way stop, turn left a couple streets later, and then turn right into the correct parking lot. Much of the inside locations are inter-connected, and maze-like, too. I'm teaching in a basement room, and there is a cafeteria in a basement a few buildings over, and many of my students are pretty sure you can get there without going up to the main floor, but none of them are sure how exactly to do so.
I've had dinner with a few friends, or a whole bunch at Tio's, some with lj's and some without, and generally had a pretty pleasant time of it. Just hoping that the traffic isn't too bad getting out of here after work tomorrow.
