'Tis the season to be busy...
Dec. 29th, 2003 10:00 pmSo, I haven't been online for a few days.
It started on the 24th, dinner with my parents, then over to D's parents place, where stockings were stuffed, and then presents opened after family came home from church. Over to my parents' place Christmas morning to open presents, and have a touch of lunch. Back to my place & D's to pack, then back to my parents' place for Christmas dinner. Up at 4:30am to catch a 7am flight to Dallas on the 26th, to go to a good friend's wedding. That was on the 28th, it went well, he is (and they are) successfully married. Up reasonably early again this morning (7am or thereabouts), pick up one other wedding guest to take to the airport, and get there in lots of time for the noon flight home. (The US is on "orange alert", we didn't want to push the recommended two hours, but security was actually quick.) Unfortunately, the plane was late getting to Dallas, so we missed our Toronto-Ottawa connection, but actually, I'm not sure we could have made it even were it on time, as 1 hour to do a flight change, including customs, in Pearson is nigh impossible. (Air Canada booked the ticket that way.) So, we got re-booked for the next flight to Ottawa, at 7:10pm(instead of our original 5:10 flight), and finally made it home a little while ago.
I think I need to rest now.
