Teaching is going fine, they're asking lots of questions, and taking stuff in.

Yesterday, had dinner with melleybean, at a Georgian/Russian restaurant. Interesting and different food, but good.

This evening, fought with traffic, grabbed dinner, fought with traffic, got to Allez-Up, bouldered for a couple hours, fought with streets, got to my sister's place, gave her the stereo I got her for Christmas and set it up, fought with traffic, and got back to the hotel. Gah traffic, but otherwise a good evening.

Now, to catch up on LJ, pack for departure, and even maybe get some sleep.

Hey! I hate to say it, but I think I'm gonna have to cancel on Friday brunch. It's a stupid work thing. :( When are you back this way again?

I'll be back through a week from Friday. Does that work better?

May we have the name and address of the restaurant? How about a more complete review?

It is a small restaurant (about 6 tables) on the west side of Decarie, probably about at the corner of Queen Mary -- mel or sultry would be better able to give you the name of it, but I think it is called "Le Georgia" or maybe "The Georgia".

I had borscht, which was very tasty, and some sort of beef stew with ground walnut that was quite interesting. Mel had some roast? duck with a plum-based sauce that was tangy and yummy. Mel also had a Russian/Georgian dessert, hony-based, but very different in texture -- quite solid -- that was quite yummy, too. I had a cake that was good, but not so interesting.

Does that help?
