A quick Arisia update

Ran Caylus this (Saturday) afternoon, got 4 players (plus me), 3 kids (probaly aged 8-13, Gabriel, Ian, and G---) and one other adult, Rob. Game went well, fairly close with several exchanges of the lead, until right at the end where I pulled away -- I finished about 5 points ahead of the pack, with about a 5-point spread among the other players.

I had a wonderful dinner with ladysprite, then played some Jungle Speed, some Set (which I bought today) and some more Jungle Speed. Then, waited for the dance to start and dance for a wonderful 2.5 (or so) hours with ladysprite, who is a joy to dance with.

Now, it is time for bed.

*hug* It was SO good to see you - I don't get to say this often enough, but you're a friend I'm glad to have in my world, and I wish I could see you more often. As it is, I'm glad we got to spend the time together that we did....

Thank you. It was, truly, wonderful to see you and spend the time with you this weekend as well. I, too, wish we could do it more often. Hm... how does your July long weekend look? I am throwing a party at my (parents') cottage near Ottawa -- a lake for swimming, and friendly people, and outdoors and all that sort of good stuff. You are, as always, invited and encouraged to come! (And, your friend, boyfriend and husband is, also, of course, invited.)
