Ports so far

So far the ports I have acquired for the party include:

Kopke - Tawny
Kopke - Ruby
Graham's 10 year Tawny Port
Olera - Canadian Port
Orion - Canadian Port
Ferreira - Dona Antonia Reserva

And, I am thinking of opening my:
Taylor Fladgate Quinte de Vargellas vintage port - 1987.

(The party is December 29th, my place, starting at 7:30pm.)

I do not have a white port, assuming that is what you meant by white-grape port. The only encounter I've had with a white port is the perfectly awful stuff that ragnhildr was inflicting on "friends" a while ago.

I understand that the white port was purchased by i_and_t in an attempt to acquire a yummy white port like the one they had in Portugal. As you noted, this failed miserably.

That sounds right -- I think I associate it with ragnhildr because I first encountered it at her place, and possibly it got left there.

Ah, shit, I could have grabbed a good white port in BC. I may still bring one,I like the stuff. As it is, I have a half bottle of Quail Ridge to toss in.
