Tired!

I made it out to Planet Granite for rock-climbing this afternoon. I got there around 2:30pm, and bouldered until about 5pm (since I didn't have anyone to climb with), then found someone to climb with (and, she was HOT, too), so now I could climb... and did so until about 6:45pm. Now, I'm very tired, my hands are extra tired, I have a bruised shin, and lots of scrapes here and there. But the climbing was awesome. (Though, expensive -- $17, whereas in Ottawa it is $10 or $12, unless 1/2 price time at Vertical when it is $5.) I think I'll go back on Wednesday, and hope to find someone to climb with again. And, they have a lot more vertical then anything in Ottawa -- I think there highest is about 60' (a bit under 20m), and that's a bloody long climb. (Well, long compared to what I'm used to.) A 5.7 for a 30' wall is way different than a 5.7 for a 60' wall. WAY different. I have climbing gym envy.

I came back to the hotel, and started scarfing down food while talking to gabriel_le, because I was too hungry to shower and go out for food, I had to get something to eat to not be too hungry to go out and eat. Luckily, I do have food here (yay suite hotel, with fridge), so I could do that.

Tomorrow, I think I'll take it easy.

(Actually, Vertical Reality claims to have 54' of height, but their top-rope stuff (which is what I'm doing, rather than lead-climbing) is not nearly as high as that. And, Coyote is noticeably shorter than Vertical Reality.)
