Not a restaurant tonight!
Oct. 11th, 2006 07:27 pmWhen I'm on the road, I eat out a lot. A real lot. Three, sometimes four, meals a day. And it gets really tiresome, finding a restaurant, learning a new menu, finding out if it is good or bad, then choosing another restaurant. I eat out at home a lot, too, but I know many of the restaurants and know what I like at them, so it is easier. But, this is a two week trip, so I asked to be in a suite hotel, which means that I have a fridge, stove, microwave, cutlery, plates, etc. So, tonight, on the way home from work I stopped by a grocery store and bought a whole bunch of food. Much of it is pre-prepared (cause I don't really want to cook) things like soups and salads; but I also got some fresh fruits and vegetables (which I've been missing), crackers, cheese, etc. This will be a nice change -- and means a couple meals will be less time-consuming, too. It should give me more evening time to get out and do something.
