Off to Boston...
Oct. 2nd, 2003 10:26 pmWell, actually, Boxborough. But, if I said that nobody would know what I meant.
Fly out at 7:30am (UGH) Monday morning, teach four days for a Cisco group there, then fly home at 6:40am (double-UGH, I am NOT a morning person) on Saturday.
Hope Boxborough has internet access.

Date: 2003-10-03 04:44 pm (UTC)Some places I've gone, I've had more of a chance to "see" the place... I know I visitted a few Casinos while I was in Las Vegas, my hotel was on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, and that was nice -- I also drove around that area. In Florida, I was right on the coast, got to play in the surf, and I almost got to see a shuttle launch -- my hotel balcony was facing the right way, but it was supposed to launch the day before I left, and got delayed. I got to see a few of the nice lakes and some of Minnesota when I got sent to Pequot Lakes.
But, other times, like when I was in Germany, it was arrive, teach, leave, without doing much. (Last week in San Jose was the same, well I got to see the QNX offices there, ooh-ah.)
In many cases, it really depends on how tired I am, and the teaching can be quite tiring.
