Taking the Michigan-left too far

At Lotz & Michigan Ave, in order to proceed "straight" on Lotz, you must turn right, U-turn, turn right. That's just a bit too far.

Sounds like our trip to montreal - can't turn there, must U-turn, must go down 3 blocks....

Yowza. Yeah, someone was just being sadistic there, I figure. ;)

It reminds me of one of my least favorite stretches of downtown Ann Arbor - William St. from Main to Maynard. To keep going forward, you have to change lanes every block (and these are *short*, like 200 feet, blocks) for about 5 blocks. And it's poorly marked, to boot.
