Walking a baby

This evening I took pezchica & Jim's baby for a walk. Mostly, cause it gave them a little over an hour when they didn't have to worry about baby, someone else did, and because the little one generally tends to sleep while being walked, so it would likely be a low-stress way for me to have the little one. She was, mostly, pretty good, falling asleep after about 1/2 an hour, and sleeping for 1/2 an hour, then she woke up, and get fussier, and cried for the last 5 to 10 minutes of the walk, off and on. The parents enjoyed their time, though. And I figure it was good exercise for me. Depending on next week's schedule, I may do it again. But, rather than wandering the paths in the greenbelt, I should try and test the baby's babe-magnet potential somewhere. I'm not sure where, though.

That is the best gift you could ever give parents.

Also (and please forgive my typos, becuase I'm drunk), some of my best times were spent walking The Boy and telling him nonsense while he slept. It's a type of therapy -- and the best kind, cuz it's free.
