weather?

It's mid June, and was 14 degrees inside this house at late morning. WTF? I was so tired of being chilly, that I turned the furnace on. This is just wrong. Warming, they promised me global warming.

Yeah, yeah, I know that local weather is not necessarily correlated or even relevant to global warming, let me rant. I even know that global warming can/could cause long term local drops in temperature due to changes of climate, weather patterns, etc. e.g. if we lose the Atlantic conveyor and Gulf stream with it due to global warming, most of northern and western Europe will end up quite a bit colder.

Global warming... isn't that why SUVs started to get so popular in Canada? We were all like "Whoopee! Less snow next winter? Where do we sign up?!"

Wah wah wah. We spent all day in a windy field in Winchester, where the temperature never got above 9 degrees (yes, they were checking)! I am now and home and the 20 degree house feels sweltering! :-D

We had a sudden temperature drop this afternoon while we were postering Yonge Street for Gaylaxicon. I'm glad I was wearing my windbreaker and jeans, instead of the shorts I'd been wearing all week.

I have resisted putting on the heater, but I am wearing two sweaters..in June, dammit!

"Global warming" is a misleading term. Really it's climate change, which includes cooling in some places.
