It would be Melbourne. My boss doesn't think he can spare me for more than a month -- which makes a certain amount of sense. When this would happen hasn't been finalized, but if the customer goes for it, it would probably be late August-September time frame. It looks like the 3 months might be 1 month me, 1 month someone else, and a couple 2 week periods from other people.

Date: 2006-06-05 09:38 pm (UTC)For distance comparison, I found it helpful to think of Melbourne as New Orleans; Sydney as Washington, DC; Adelaide as Memphis; Alice Springs as St. Louis; Ayers Rock as Kansas City; Brisbane as Boston; Darwin as Toronto; and Perth as Los Angeles. It's not perfect, but it keeps one from thinking that one can just hop over to a different city, and be back the next day.
