Home again, for a bit.

It was a good weekend, enjoyed myself (and ourselves) a lot.

The drive home was uneventful, quiet, alone, dark, and contemplative.

I'm writing you a gargantuan email to share a bunch of the contemplative. I think some of the thought I could only have done alone, actually.

Glad you had a good evening with your cousin. I disappeared really quickly, since she looked really uncomfortable with having me there. I might have been reading her wrong, but she didn't make any "welcome, would you like a cup of tea or something" type noises to suggest I was welcome.

told you she was shy. It took a minute or so, but we were able to breathe comfortably and get to talking.
