Motorcycle
Mar. 29th, 2006 01:53 pmYesterday, I shovel a path through the snow, down to the ice, on my driveway, and tried to start the bike -- but the battery was way too low. (This was not surprising, I'm such a good bike storer that I just leave the battery in the bike, in the garage, all winter.) So, I put it on a charger. Today, I went out and started the bike, and let it run for a while. While it was running, I went and chopped much of the ice down to the concrete -- except for the really nasty thick ice right at the end of the section we normally shovel.
I should be able to take the bike out this evening -- I'm going to my parents' place for dinner, I think I'll go by motorcycle. And, probably pick leolac up from buttongirl's after sewing by bike, too. Not that she needs a lift home, but it means we both get to go for a little spin. :)
Working from home rocks, sometimes. ;)
