Yup, all that travel definitely good for my reading time. Completed two novels by Emma Bull. I've done my February quota, and caught up some of my slippage from January. Looking at my upcoming travel schedule... well, I might be done my 50 by the end of April. :)

Book 6: Finder by Emma Bull. This was an easy read that engaged me from the beginning, but did not feel like a very ambitious story. It was set in a faerie overlapping the real world type universe, and one in which I think she has set other stories. This makes the world-building less interesting, especially as this genre has been done, and done well, by others. Still, it was enjoyable enough that I immediately picked up the other Emma Bull I had in the selection I had packed for my trip.

Book 7: Bone Dance by Emma Bull. I found this one a lot more difficult to get in to -- it didn't seem to pick up and grab me immediately the way Finder did. But, over all, I think this was the bigger novel -- a more challenging and deeper work, pulling on themes that are not nearly as overworked as the modern faerie genre. It is again a world combining technology and magic, but the magic is human (not faerie), and comes more from the voodoo tradition, with the technology being primarily post-apocalyptic modern technology. There is an interesting contrast between magical and (hand-waved as) technological possession, as well. I think, on the whole, a rewarding book.
