I'm off for another week in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Well, mostly there -- my days will be there, and two of my nights will be there, but I wasn't able to get a local hotel the first couple nights because they were all booked.

Cottage long weekend went reasonably well, and I think most people enjoyed themselves. Though, it was more crowded than it has been lately -- lots of people who had not previously said yes did so, and there were several last-minute "can I brings..." too. Unfortunately, those tend to increase my stress level, and I will have to consider how to reduce the incidence next year.

My life continues to be dominated by travel, but this month at least most of it is climbing-oriented rather than work-oriented. Of course, next month will make up for this.

One of my room-mates moved out this week, and the other will be moving out around September, so I guess I'm looking for a new room-mate or two, again.

*nods* You may need to have a drop-dead RSVP date for the cottage, which I know isn't easy for all of our little crowd, but you deserve sanity too.

I felt kinda bad about bailing at the last minute, but now am kinda glad I did. Migraines and large crowds are not a fun mix.
